Common Approach Steps to Protect

Steps to Protect is a systematic way of organising and carrying out work to address an individual child’s (and their family’s) protection and/or welfare needs in an appropriate, systematic and timely manner through direct support, local support systems and/or referrals, and in accordance with a project or programme’s objective.

 

The Steps to Protect Common Approach enables Save the Children to endorse a systematic step-by-step process to working with individual children, girls and boys and their families to address all forms of violence, abuse, exploitation and neglect experienced by children.
