The "My Business Module Facilitator’s Guide" from the Youth in Action (YiA+) program is designed to empower youth in Uganda by helping them develop viable business plans and acquire essential entrepreneurial skills. The guide is structured into four main topics, each comprising multiple sessions that cover various aspects of starting and running a small business. The module emphasizes a gender-transformative approach, aiming to build critical consciousness and address gender inequalities.  The Key Topics are: You, Your Business and Working with People, Your Business and the Market, Your Business Income and Expenses, and Your Business Plans.  The guide employs participatory and experiential learning techniques, including storytelling, games, group work, and coaching. It integrates gender concepts to challenge stereotypes and promote equal opportunities for young women and men.  Through the process, youth are empowered with the knowledge and skills needed to start and sustain successful businesses, while also fostering gender equality and addressing community-specific challenges.
